I guess that is what Spawn and Heaton are in to.
I remember saw zowie menationed that first of all HeatoN wanted low LoD. Also,HeatoN comes from IME3.0 with func1030 (must be superlow one since its optical+hardpad which not have must texture on it) so I guess he wanted the low LoD possible without effect the stable tracking.

So they saw it works for thier crowd - which are mostly 1.6 players (mostly low DPI and huge pads).

As said above, I would like to have a more balanced solution between max speed and low LoD,
But seriously guys, you need to know that you cannot really effect. you are the minority and most of the companys dont listen to the minority-communities, sadly.

They could have developed external software like Razer (DA has the same model), but likely want a pure no driver no issue experience. Would also likely tack on development cost to design a basic UI and stable software.

I'm a bit of a purist myself. If I could set DPI/Hz through buttons on the mouse I would've never even used the software back when I used a DA.

With the logitech G400 I actually installed the software just to disable the dpi buttons, damn accidental presses :x

desolder the switch/cable = no software crap.

I can't understand the general condemnation of mousedrivers/software.
I never had problems with either the razer drivers, or the LGS i have installed for my g400 since day one.

The mouse drivers around the late 90's and early 2000's were pretty bad. Logitech used to have drivers called Mouseware (em_exec.exe) which interfered with a lot of games. Maybe these old school 1.6 players like SpaWn/Heaton remember those times they had to disable bad mouse drivers.

Mouse drivers are much better designed now though.

i guess the need for driverless came not because of mousedrivers were so bad that it was necessary to remove them, but because you couldn't install drivers on LAN.
i doubt you are still not allowed to install mousedrivers on LAN, and who goes to LAN's so often anyways.

Just got my AM last week, been using it for everyday use. Flawless so far, had to say goodbye to my kinzuadder because the AM felt much better because basically the kinzuadder is too light for me, i got more control while playing with the AM.

About the buttons, it didnt feel anything too stiff or too soft its right in between so it feels nice IMO, after almost a year using omron d2f as my kinzuadder right and left clicks, I feel the huano gives the better click feeling than the d2f, which in my opinion contributes to more accurate tap shot in shooter games. I believe I got the 3rd batch of the AM which comes out alongside with the EC EVO, I've read HaiYaa's review about the EC EVO where he said that the buttons in EVO is less stiff than the AM.

Did zowie listened to our feedbacks here so they changed it? I can't confirm because i didnt have the older batches. But compared to omron's d2f, the difference is noticeable but not as stiff as I imagined when I read the comments about the buttons

Always take into consideration that a certain amount of exaggerating is used on forum posts like these. smile.gif

They only used the feedback about the 2 mousebuttons rubbing into eachother for people with long fingers and the MOUSE4/5 button issue as far I know.
