Zowie AM Review - Page 8

I think it has been said that the coating feels similar to the coating of the black EC1/2.

Hm... I didn't touch that one yet but thanks for the reply anyway. smile.gif

I kinda love the feeling on the top of my G400 and hate Glossy (I noticed as today EC2 white arrived).

The grainy coating on the 1.1 is worn out too quickly and is slippery now which is kinda as ugly to hold now as the EC2 white.

How does the coating feel?
Is it similar to the grainy 1.1 or the cold-smooth G400 or .... ?

The best sensor and shape is no use to me if I can't get a good grip and feel.

Same rubberized paint used on Xai, Kinzu, EC1/2.

Very likely exactly the same as Ec1/2 (asssuming same supply chain).

Compared to my xai, i think that AM coating is more slippery.

That doesn't sound too good.
Guess I'll stick longer with the G400 then as it seems absolutely impossible to build a nice mouse, pfft. rolleyes.gif

But the problem with the EC is, that it has the coating only on top of the mouse.
Is that the same with the AM, or has it the coating also on the sides(where it belongs)?

Thats why there are 2 versions of the mouse. AM = fully rubberized. GS = glossy sides (top shell still rubberized)
