I've got a TFC X-Changer Triple Radiator 360 for $60. It's not the biggest radiator out there, but it does the job. It's practically brand new.

used car radiator. or a new one for what a gtx 560 or that 140.9 rad would cost you.

Thanks - that shape won't work for me unfortunately

Has anyone tested how well they perform vs real radiators? Are there restriction issues?

tested, not that I know of. I would wager that they are very nonrestrictive, just looking at mine (I rear ended someone, so I'm replacing my radiator, and thus looking at it). No idea on performance, just thought I'd throw the idea out there. And of course they are not for use in any "normal" loop, and they are ugly as sin, and a whole list of other reasons not to use them.

But they are large, have immense heat dissipation capacity, and are relatively cheap.

Thanks - yeah this is for the heat chambers of a TX10 case - I did look at some on ebay, and they seemed to either be smaller than the 140.9, or freaking huge (i.e. 3ft x 2ft truck radiators). Given that I didn't see anything larger than a 140.9 that could still fit in the case, I think I may have to stick with the 140.9 which at least I know will work well with low rpm fans (I want to go as close to silent as I can without sacrificing performance).

Oh yeah, if it's going in a TX-10, you want something sexy, not a car rad. Why not multiple loops though?

There are - the 140.9 is for one sb-e cpu only. 2x560 + 1x360 for 990x + 480x3 + mobo2, 360 for 8800gt + mobo1
