SSD NoN OS setup

My ssd arrived a few days before some other parts so i installed it to play with (no os). I know Sean has a pro guide for ssd used as OS. What optimizations from that guide do I want to do on my raw storge SSD.

Install newest SATA drivers:
Check to see if the TRIM command is being issued:
Check Defragmentation schedule:
Change power options:

NP, oh and you should be in AHCI mode and not IDE in your BIOS. thumb.gif
