I would recommend Intel over Amd for gaming any day! I would offer $850 and maybe he might meet you at $925.

you should go to newegg or somewhere like that and "make" your own PC based on his specs and take 20 to 30% off of the price and I think that's a good deal, since everything is used.

Looks good. Intel is generally better based for gaming and movies.

Ask him for $850, that is what I would do (he might meet you half way like Pseudonymous said.

Good luck thumb.gif

Ok I just did some calculations for you.

I went to Newegg, put all the parts in a shopping cart and it came to $1156, that said take about 25% off since it's used and you get...

$289 off $1156 which = $867.

Show him this post and tell him you will take $860.

Good luck and I hope all goes well. I think that $1000 is overpriced since it is used. Tell him $860, take it or leave it.

Also remeber to show him THIS post, I wouldn't want a fellow forum member get ripped off.

Bulldozer is a new chip so it can't be very much old. try 900.
