Gaming mouse for large hands?

Thread Starter
So, I bought the Razer Naga Epic, felt like it suited my needs, and had the aesthetics to boot, but I'm finding that the damn thing is just too small in my hand. I'm 6'4" and my hands are relatively large (I can palm a basketball) and the mouse just seems awkward, and my pinky finger keeps slipping off (even when I'm using the palm grip). Are there any gaming-grade mice that are better suited to users with larger hands? Thanks in advance.

The Cyborg R.A.T. 5, 7, and 9 fit larger hands well. The 7 and 9 have so many adjustments it's bound to fit you. RAT7 is wired and 9 runs on batteries.

...what about any Logitech mice? I've read that they tend to be bigger, and more ergonomic, which would suit my preferences.

I'm sort of trying to stray away from the R.A.T. mice; I've read that the sensor is very erratic, and the overall build quality feels somewhat cheap.

I too have large hands and the power to palm basketballs.

I'm 6', and my hands are scaled almost 1.2 in terms of standardized size, so I know the pain of small mice.

I actually have a Naga and still use it, despite it being awkward sometimes, but I also have a Rat, and I can say that the R.A.T. 7 is unquestionably the most comfortable mouse for my hand size I've ever used, not to mention ergonomically, it beats the tail out of the Naga. Not to mention if it doesn't feel JUST RIGHT you can adjust a ton of minor settings till it feels like it was made just for yah.

Try it out next time you're in a fancy electronics store.

I would suggest you look into the CM Storm Sentinel Advanced Z3RO-G, For the price, it can't be beat biggrin.gif

kone+ is made for giants.but i seirously suggest to try mice in a shop instead of listening to some advice online for ergonomics.

Me personally I have pretty big hands. I am 6 ft and I think I have average size hands in terms of people my height and I feel like the MX518/G400 fit pretty well. I use the palm grip and most of the time my pinky is hanging off on the mousepad when I'm playing games.

Well, i find the mx518 is quite decently sized, i dont know about how it would fit into gigantic hands though, but i find i have to use my whole palm on it just to use it precisely. Failing that, get the Rat 7. That thing looks badass/silly (depending on your tastes) and its so customisiabe its crazy. I would have gotten one by now, but im just a student, and i spent all my spare coin on my existing rig and a car.

this is pretty much how i use my mx518 as well. My pinky is always on the mouse pad.
