Best Airflow in the Corsair Carbide 500R

Hey all,

I have a Corsair 500 R along with a H100 CPU Cooler cooling a Core i7 2600K. Which Configuration do you guys reckon gives the best cooling efficiency for my Asus GTX 560ti Graphics Card?

From the top,

Grill --> Radiator --> Case --> Fans (Pulling Air into the Case )
Grill --> Fans --> Case --> Radiator (Pulling Air into the Case )

with only the rear fan pushing air out of the case....

or the same configurations pushing air out of the case with all the other fans pulling air into the case?

Thanks...

Why not.. something balanced?
Such as, 2x intake on front, 2x exhaust on top (H100), 1x exhaust on rear, and 1x intake on side (that dumb useless no-static-pressure 230mm fan).

I considered that... but i wasn't sure that would create enough of an air flow around the video card....I am definetly not sure though.... Any suggestions?

This is what i run except two fans intake on the video cards(SLI). Great temps.

Sweet...Alright... I will try it out.... Do you reckon i should replace the big 230mm with smaller 120mm?
well if you replace the 230 with 120's you will get some better airflow but you will also most likely get more noise. I would see how the 230 does and if you dont like your temps try it with some 120's though dont expect THAT much of a difference i would say like 5c maybe

I run H100 up top with ap15s as intake, grill>fan>case>rad. Only exhaust fan is rear exhaust. My case has so much positive pressure that i can feel air pushing out of the cracks and the usb ports. Im getting great temps

That was my initial idea.... I was trying to create positive air pressure within the case... apart from the ap15s... are the other fans stock? even the 230mm?

A 230mm fan as a intake would spin backwards in a case with positive pressure. D:

lol....that would need a lot of air pressure.......this case was designed for positive air pressure after all...
