This is my first sandy bridge build and am taking most components off my q6600 rig and mainly need feed back on which processor is best for me.
The rig will be used for gaming and video encoding mostly, am looking for something to use atleast for 2-3 years. also prefer a good overclock
Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V/GEN3 S1155 Intel Z68 DDR3 ATX

CPU: Intel i7 2700k / Intel i7 2600k or i5 2500k

GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 560Ti 830MHz 1GB PCI-Express HDMI + old 9800GTX for Physx

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz CL9

SSD: OCZ Technology 60GB Agility 3 (Max Read: up to 525MB/s, Max Write: up to 475MB/s)

Looks good. I know there has been the sandforce fix, but I still saw a couple of rants about freezes and whatnot a few days ago. I'd go with a crucial m4 for its reputable reliability, but if you're fixed on that ocz, hope for the best. smile.gif

Go with 2600K.
Crucial, OCZ, Corsair etc... They all are good drives, but they all have a minute percentage that have problems. They all have good support so no matter which you choose they'll help you.
Also Newegg has a sale on GSkill Sniper 2x4gb 1866CL9 for $49 now.
And perhaps take a look at the Asrock Z68 extreme4 gen3 our the Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4 , mobos.
