also now im having eyefinity problems. I purchased an active dp adapter and all three work but never at the same time. I have installed the latest drivers and tried everything im stuck ;(


Not sure which adapter you bought and monitors you have. Only buy active adapter listed here and validated by AMD for Eyefinity. The rest are hit or miss.

Make sure the monitor setup meets Eyefinity minimum Requirement.

 

It only supports 2 monitors with legacy devices, the combination of HDMI,DVI or VGA. The third monitor must have native DisplayPort or you will need an active adapter.

well the guy at canada computers said it was an active one so it should work

for some reason it thinks that my 6970 has mroe then one core frown.gif so its not letting it do eyefinity i assure you all my monitors are plugged into one card138

That guy probably don't know about Eyefinity. The adapter you have is definitely working for Mac. I got the same one but not for AMD cards.

 

You just need one of these for 6970:
