next OC step ??

Thread Starter
i have OC'd from stock :

fsb 204mhz
divider 1:1
ram freq. 204mhz
ram volts 2.5v
ram timing 3-4-4-8
v.core 1.38v
gpu 500/900
3dmark05 3233

to:

fsb 250mhz 255mhz
divider 3:2
ram freq. 166.6mhz 170mhz
ram volts 2.6v
ram timing 2-2-2-5
v.core 1.438v
gpu 500/900
3dmark05 3481 3466

the red figures show the max we ran at, but came back down due to max temp of 64*c.

I am now wondering if i have anything to gain with the ram V. or timings ?

If you raise up the vDimm and loosing the timing you may be able to tighten your didvder to 1:1. There are many arguments about 1:1 being the best but I think that it is. A way to look at it like a car... 1:1 is like running on all cyliders at full steam. A divider is like shutting down a few cylinder but adding more powerful spark plugs or higher octane fuel. I would personally rather have a 12 cyliders.
