If you want to go with an asus monitor I would go with This one.
I was at the store earlier messing with the monitors to see if I liked one size over the other and honestly I can't stand LED monitors they just look WAY too bright and they make colors look weird.
However if you want an LED monitor I would go with a middle sized 1080p monitor. While messing with them I liked the feel of the 23" monitors versus the 24" and the 27" monitors. They weren't too big but they weren't small either. Plus you are getting the same amount of pixels whether you go with a 21.5" monitor or a 27" monitor at 1080p so it seems logical to me to pick one that is a little more compact like the 23" monitors to get a sharper image.

They are all the same pretty much.
All that really changes between the Asus VS series is the physical size.

BTW: Don't fall into the trap that you have to have "X" in order to get ahead of the competition. Do the best you know how and eventually you will find ground.
As far as monitors go anything with >5ms response time will do fine. Get the size you like and just play the game and commentate. Actually I would recommend more than one screen for a productivity boost. You could both play the game and interact with your livestream at the same time.

Oh and don't hate on how a game works. If its one thing WingsofRedemption does horribly wrong is that he tells people everything that he thinks is wrong about a product. If all he did was state what he thought was good and just leave off the bad he would have a much larger following.

Just my 2cents.gif from my experience as a watcher of the youtubes.

So I saw a lot of sites recommend the Asus ML238H or the ML248H, but there's also the ASUS VS Series VS238H-P and the Asus VH238H or I could could a bit bigger with the VE258Q.

Anyone know which of the Asus monitors have the lowest input lag? I'd need one with HDMI, DVI, and a headphone jack for my headset.
