Any recommendations? biggrin.gif

So ive just recently OCed my CPU from 3.4GHz into 3.876GHz. Im still currently running Prime95 to assure stability of my system. So far my temps go from idle of 42 - 44 and 55 - 57 on full load. Hopefully my BIOS adjustments were correct as suggested though i had to tweak some of the values for i kept on receiving an error message on start up..

Clock: 3.876Ghz (228 x 17)
DRAM Freq: 760.0 Mhz
HT Link: 2052.1 Mhz
NB Frequency: 2052.0 <--- Set to Auto, i tried adjusting it as you guys suggested with values ranging from 2500 - 2800 but i kept on receiving errors. frown.gif

Prime95 has been running for 1hr now and so far no errors has been reported.

Suggestions / Feedbacks / Comments would be totally appreciated as this is my first time in OCing.

Thanks,

Ermin.

Additional Info.

I havent applied the Arctic Silver 5 as i am not yet sure if its really advisable to still use it since ive done some research on what kind of TIM was pre-applied on to the H100 dont know if its true but they say its the Shin-Etsu or the Dow Corning - High quality thermal paste.

Should i still use the Arctic Silver 5?

I'd say that's a pretty well balanced system. I would upgrade the CUP and GPU at the same time if you plan to do so however.

Update on my build, so finally the long wait has come. Finally had the time to buy an SSD for my OS.

A Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD.

Average space but i think it will suffice. smile.gif
