I think the QC issues lie with sandforce. I used lots of OCZ SSD's with SF1200 and they were all fine and are still running. SF22xx was a nightmare for all vendors.

Also, the 320 is junk isn't it? Its really not any faster than the first generation sandforce 1200.

Yes, from experience working at OCZ I can tell you Sandforce has been the issue with the latest drives. (Vertex Plus, Everest)

Basically they are trying to blur out the differences between all SSD because all SSD are nearly identical and some are just rebranded base on same chipset.

 

Basically, people will lean more toward to the most renounced product or the most marketed one with a decent pricing.
