If it was BF3 it would have been a different response huh? thumb.gif

Its nice that the gaming industry is delivering games that sell on par with the biggest blockbuster movies.

You wanted to applaud because she wasn't able to get a game that YOU dislike, I guess that's cool. Everyone has their own opinion and most of the people who play COD want to play with their friends. Hating is getting way out of hand lately.

Warrior IS the movie of year lol

also transformers 3 will never be as good as Captain America

I favor neither the BF nor the MW franchise, just tired of them pushing out rehashed stuff with nothing new added. Way to assume I "hate" the game, it just doesn't appeal to me, same game generic FPS shooter, different name. I wanted to applaud the guy for not buying into the marketing hype, not because BF3 is also out.

Based on what you said, for all you know, he could have said no just because he didn't want to spend the money. Or because he didn't want a violent/graphic game. Or because he was going to surprise her with it for Christmas. Or because he doesn't like first-person shooters at all. You jumping to unlikely assumption that he doesn't buying into the "marketing hype" shows how obvious the bias is, just as the person you quoted suggested.

Although i stopped liking COD after MW2 , i do have to give them props for doing so well. As most here do , i prefer BF3 but i do miss the age of games like quake 3 and unreal tournament. As cool as it is to be a solider in modern day games with modern weapons , i miss being able to bust out a BFG or Redeemer and nuke whole areas back to the stone age biggrin.gif

I'm just glad we go away from the WW1/WW2/WW15 shooters, personally. I loves me some thompson rat-a-at-ar, but darn was it getting old.

You know... I made a post about comparing this to the movie industry profits, the first day(or week dont IIRC) it was 3/4 the way to avatar.

Heh.
