Received my Zowie AM mouse today xD.

Really happy with it, Im going to compare it to the ec2 as thats my next best mouse, but ive tried loads.
Love the shape of it prefer it to the xai, the rubber sides are a big strong point for me.
Also clicking both buttons ive read this has been a problem with them hitting each other but mine seems fine.
The buttons are alot better imo than the ec2 there more responsive (less springy).
Only thing ive noticed is the teflon feet arnt thick enough feels like parts of the bottem of the mouse are touching my pad, (very very slightly).

The lift off distance is extremely low, significantly lower than the ec2.

I cant really find any faults with the mouse tbh, I prefer it to the ec2.

If anyone would like me to test the overall tracking of the mouse, Just let me know which program to use etc,

Hope this is helpful, Im a 100% noob at reviews so just ask anything u need too.

So my questions are..

1. Is lift off distance same in every DPI step?
2. Do m1/2 collide when you press them togather?
3. What maximum resolution and DPI you used to play with mouse, and how good tracking was?

When you say the LOD is extremely low, are we talking like 1 cd or what? Any jitter on any the dpi steps? What's the malfunction speed on this thing?

Right Mouse1 and mouse2 do not collide
It doesnt have any jitter on my mousepad (puretrak).
And the LOD imo is about half of what the ec2 has, As soon as u lift it up it looses tracking its under 1cd i think,
i dont know how to measure 1cd, but it feels around 1mm high off the pad when it looses tracking.
The tracking is excellent imo. better than ec2,mx518,imo 1.1 and 3.0.

The tracking is just my personal feel when in game, flick shots, moving mouse as fast as possible, im not familier with tracking programs.

Is LoD same in 2300DPI setting? Please test it, very important for me.

What's the difference in shape compared to the Xai? Are you a claw or palm grip type?
What DPI are you using?
How hard do you have to press for the actual click? - I'm a click heavy gamer - less resistance is crucial for me

@nubbins
Which DPI step you use?

My problem is - i'm pretty much stuck on 1650 i'm using right now with 6/11 in Windows (and without touching the Sens in SC2 at all - touching it changes Windows Sens so this is kinda dumb - need those 1650 to maintain the same speed). How does this mouse feel overall for you and which one you used before?

@Miski
On which DPI step you used the EC2 before (and at 6/11 in Windows)? I'm using a MX518 right know - the shape is somewhat similar to the EC2 - was it easy for you to adapt to the new shape the AM offers? I also use the thumb button on my MX for Hyperscrolling (dunno if this is the right name) to scroll/browse through webpages. Is it possible to remap keys for this (because there's no driver software).

Why did you bought the AM without the glossy sides? I'm also not sure which one is better ^^

using 1150. Previously used a logi g9x @ 800dpi. Shapes great to hold in your palm for shafting or with your fingers for faster flick rails, honestly prefer a smaller/shorter shape so you can move the mouse downwards without the back of the mouse hitting your palm right away on low shots (as seen). Also using glossy sides, I find rubber picks up more dirt with heavy usage and with a simple wipe of glossy you always have 100% coverage friction. Would need soap on your fingers to make them slide.
