Guys, you're also forgetting that he's using two monitors. He could have the distance of the Nile between his cards, it wouldn't matter. His second card is downclocking, and his first card is staying at 100% speed/voltage, thus higher temps. Airflow doesn't really have that much to do with it. Check with HWMonitor -- you'll see one card using higher voltage than the other.
