Skyrim and WoW Eyfinity support?

I cant seem to get either game to work in Eyefinity. Skyrim wont even give me the options, and WoW will load up all super stretched out over three monitors.

BF3 however, launches and plays perfect. I have my Eyefinity monitor group setup and its working fine, but those two games just refuse to work. What am I missing?

Nothing, actually.

Some games just don't support Eyefinity//Surround.

I would not personally want to play WoW in Eyefinity nor would I want to play Skyrim really either, that way.

BF3 on the other hand, there's a purpose to playing in surround.

Star Wars supports it but, I personally think it's a bit ridiculous.

The bottom line is, some games just don't support it...You can make your own profile and hope it slots in but, it's luck of the draw.

For world of warcraft to work on eyefinity you need to play it on Directx 9 mode. then reboot wow, and then you should be able to select your desired Resolution.

9.0c right?

I remember having to download a specific DX to get it to work?

I have it on my ATI HD, will see if I can find it but, I specifically remember having a hard time hunting down the right version of DX for the 6990's to go into Eyefinity...

Check out Widescreen Gaming Forums for specific information on how to get many games working properly in eyefinity and triple monitor resolutions

http://widescreengamingforum.com/

Bethseda seems to have gone derp since I know oblivion and both recent fallout games worked in eyefinity.

With me Skyrim worked right away on Eyfinity tbh, but it wasnt very playable at all, all the menus were too zoomed in, but the gameplay itself was pretty nice.
the best thing is to play skyrim on 1920x1080 atm, unless it has been fixed already, i cant help you anymore then the wow issue frown.gif

I am just fine with that answer and I plus repped you. Appreciate it!

I found a few fixes for Skyrim... but i can see where it would be kind of awkward....

In your SkyrimPrefs.ini there should be 2 lines that say:
iSize H=
iSize W=
Try inserting your eyefinity resolution manually and see if it works.

Apparently skyrim basically denies any ability to set your eyefinity resolution from the launcher so you have to work around it.

This may also help you.

So, after 3 days of massive headaches... i decided to sell the monitors, and just go to a single 27" and a secondary 22". I just couldn't do it. Too much to focus on. Was definitely super cool to look at, but too much to actually take in.
