PC Won't Boot after BIOS Update

Thread Starter
So I updated my BIOS on my P8P67 Deluxe motherboard using a flash stick, and it told me the update was successful. But when I boot my machine, it gets to a point where a small dash usually scrolls down the screen, right before windows loads, but instead the dash just sits there mid ways down, blinking. It is as fuly black screen...

I can't seem to get the PC to boot...

any ideas?

Go into BIOS and check that the correct disk is set to boot. If you were using RAID make sure the SATA settings in BIOS are set back to RAID. Updating BIOS sometimes changes the settings.

Yes indeed, the wrong disc was set to boot first. Thank you very much
