Hey, OCN! I'm looking to finally get a home theater system. I have a basic Toshiba 37" 1080p lcd tv. I saw this deal on slickdeals for this home theater system for $190. It is refurbished. Newegg link . Any good? I don't really know much about sound systems, so any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!biggrin.gif I just want a good system to use in conjunction with my xbox kinect and rock band!

For the discounted price, it's pretty good considering that the receiver unit is decent. I'd say go for it and upgrade your speakers gradually.

On another note, does it have to be 5.1?

It doesn't have to 5.1. If you have any better suggestions lmk I'm open to any set as long as it's around $200. Thanks!thumb.gif
