Ok, I got my hands on the monitor this morning so I decided to test it out a little bit...Aesthetics
The case is very plain... Not too much to say about it.
On the bottom right there are 5 touch sensitive buttons that do their job rather well.. I wish they weren't touch sensitive but that is a very small gripe on my end.

2D casual applications
The colors were very overblown and the monitor was wayy too bright at the beginning.. To be honest though, this was fixed with 20 minutes of playing around with the colors and a big RGB chart spanning this monitor and my old favorite Asus VH242H.
--At first during my testing I was running all my applications at 1920x1080 @ 59hz.
Monitor seemed to perform the same as my old VH242H and maybe even a bit worse. Noticed a bit of choppiness while moving items around the screen.
--Then I noticed 120hz mode so testing was 1920x1080 @ 120hz
It might just be a combination of the refresh rate and 120hz but this monitor seems to be a new beast.. at 120hz everything just... 'feels' smoother.
Viewing photos and other high contrast media pointed out a little bit of ghosting but nothing major.. Other than that, 3D seems just fine
In 2D, I just feel like I am ahead of the curve. The games run smoothly and look nice.
In 3D, games can be a little dark but the monitor seems to keep all the pep 2D mode has and adds in an extra dimension.
In 3D PS3. I decided to test this out almost immediately on my PS3 and I can say the 3D is flawless. Playing Motorstorm apocalypse in 3D is a sight to behold.
3D is a bit gimmicky.
3D gave me a pretty bad headache after about 3 hours of play .
----All of the previous problems are nothing in comparison to my last problem.. 3D Video Mode....
3D Mode goes active when the monitor deems a 3D application starts. 3D mode is essentially a different view mode so all my previous color tweaks are gone and I see the original bright/washed out configuration.. I don't know why there needs to be a 3D mode with settings different than the normal operation mode.
**The real kicker is random things seems to trigger 3D Mode. A Windows 7 admin permission window and netflix are the 2 biggest ones.. For some reason they switch to 3D mode and I get blinded by the high brightness and then annoyed by the monitor going black to switch to my old mode.. There seems to be NO CONTROL over 3D mode and if someone knows something about disabling it or controlling manually, please lemme know
+120hz mode is a delight
+Color can be quite nice if the time is spent
+3D capable with PC and PS3
+Tons of features for a small price (paid CDN $449.99) when compared to other competitive 3D displays
----3D VIDEO MODE
-Initial color settings
-60hz mode is nothing special
Well, that was my little impromptu review. If anyone has any questions I will reply to the best of my ability.
