Skyrim Enhanced Shaders Mod ??

Thread Starter
I'm really wanting to mod skyrim with this Shaders mod.
I have a legitimate copy of Skyrim on my SIG RIG. I have the 4GB mod working but the shaders mod doesn't apply to it.
If I run the official 'SkyrimLauncher.exe' it applies the mod but crashes, obviously from lack of memory.
Has anyone got the shaders mod working with the 4gb?

You have to launch the game from the 4gbskyrim.exe that comes with the mod , NOT the official skyrim launcher. I had the enhanced shader mod but didnt like it. I just use fx injector and a crap load of texture mods.

I'm using this in conjunction with the FXAA injector mod. Everything's working okay with me. Did you place your 4GB loader inside of your Skyrim folder? Last but not least, are you running this game through Steam? Only reason why I ask is because the 4GB loader does not seem to work with pirated copies.

If you're using the very latest 4GB launcher you'll also need to copy your d3d9.dll's into the dummy TES.exe folder within the 4GB patcher folder. This is a recent issue with the latest 4GB launcher, the previous versions (at least for me) never had this problem.

Not sure if you need to copy both d3d9.dll and the other one with SES, but I'd just copy both to be safe. Hope that helps.

(Edit: you can also check it's working by pressing shift+F12 to toggle SES on/off).

If you place the 4GB loader files inside of the main skyrim directory along with where the rest of the shader files are stored it will work.

Thanks everyone I fixed the issue by moving both the d3d9.dll and d3d9DEX.dll to the 4GB folder which is inside my Skyrim root. Now the mod is applied!
Cheers

+1 to bongo
