clearly everyone on here asking for alternatives for adblock hates this site and wants it to fail. Much of the revenue from this site and many other legit sites comes from advertising that does not effect the user experience in any way. Stop complaining and let people make some money to run their websites.

The other day I did have trouble allowing ads on a site that I liked, as long as you still have the option to block everything I don't mind.

I think it's hilarious how freaked out people on the internet can get about a new checkbox that can literally be turned off with the click of a mouse in options.

Whatever, I don't mind ads, I use flashblock which targets anything that tries to be annoying.

Ad blocker never fully blocked ads. Just those stupid survey pop ups and annoying ones like "you won a free apple ipod!.....from 2007" Support the normal ads that help the websites!

My favourite combo is now going to be destroyed - NoScript and AdBlockPlus, will now have to find a decent replacement for ABP. If I can't get the good old one back.

You're thinking of Ad blocker. Adblock Plus blocks all ads. Ad blocker was always a little more behind.

By any chance, do you know how to block the ones from megaupload ( the ones that pop up, but show a blank screen that I have to click the X button to close... ? ) what specific lines to add?

And which packet sniffer is easier to use?
