HDD Degaussers are what you use to magnetically destroy a drive. Expensive. I used to use HDD Mechanical Shredders to destroy the drives instead of the degausser. It was quicker anyways to just have a machine smash and crumble multiple drives to little bits than the degausser anyhow. (Also, mechanical destruction ensures without-a-doubt that the data is unrecoverable if using a proper HDD mechanical shredder.)

Anyways, as others had said above, no need to worry about the PSU harming your drive by any electromagnetic means.
