Not that it really means anything, just thought it was funny when I saw it.

470 ?> 560 Ti
Are all 560Ti 2gb versions? Or could the 560T1 be a 1gb version that hit the limit a few times compared to a 1280mb gtx 470 which brought the average fps down a little?

In addition, for those of us who know statistics, this result really doesn't mean anything in terms of which is better. But I do enjoy the joke though.

No almost all of them are 1Gb cards. Which is why them showing the texture quality set to ultra is lolworthy(that setting on ultra requires lots of vram)

LOL

Well at least it made me smile tongue.gif

I owned both 560 Ti and gtx 470 and I have to say gtx 470 is better esp when both are overclocked.

Yes this is true especially when you're talking about overclocking. The 470 has a larger bus and thus more throughput... also more vram compared to the 1GB 560ti, more cuda cores, and more % oc headroom on the core. After agonizing over the details I went with the 470 sli setup you see below (over a 560ti setup) and I even saved around $100. Once I realized it was better and cheaper I only had to consider the downsides:

GTX 470s achilles heel is heat so good ventilation is positively required, not optional. They also suck down a lot more power than a 560ti so it has to be planned for.

This shows the 470 losing to the 560Ti, also the 560Tis are probably one of the best overclocking cards ever made.

Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit.
