Well I wondered... biggrin.gif I'd rather take CF 6950's than SLI 560ti's though, but that's probably because that's what I used. But they do have better performance, and the chance to unlock the cards is a bonus as is the bigger vram.

dude, wait for the 79xx series to release in january, then copy my rig and jam a 7970 in there, that equals a 6990, and you're done for like 1200-1300 euros, including monitor, mouse, kb, speakers and mousepad

For a 19 year old that's attending college it takes ages to get 2,000$. But after a buttload of hours of studying, then working, working, studying, I'm able to afford it without asking my parents which are like in a different country to lend me some money. So you can say if anything goes wrong I'm f'd tongue.gif

I know how it feels to scrounge money together. College isn't easy, throw in a job and the workload is close to overwhelming.

Worst part it, there's rarely any time for fun.
But when I'm done with the build the monthly cash the college supplies me with is going to make more time for fun and I won't need a job... But then again if I set my eyes on a car or something I'll still stay in the job.

And I understand how you guys feel, I'm 17 and all my money goes either to maintaining my social life or the driving school. So pretty much just scraping the little I can to my rig fund biggrin.gif It'll probably be a while until I have enough for Ivy/HD7K + WC redface.gif
