Or a "Super Amateur" Category? I'd feel way more at home there, maybe even a "Gehtto" Category... biggrin.gif

If there are any other suggestions, now would be the time.

First off, thank you for handling this. I love the idea of a rotating category of MOTM.

I'd like to suggest a separate category for beginner or budget modders, even if no prize money is awarded.

Also, I'm seeing a large number of gorgeous water cooling systems. Would it be possible to have split water and air-cooling categories for beginner and amateur? I think it would greatly level the playing field and encourage new modders.

Also, I think additional criteria for what constitutes pro vs amateur vs beginner/budget would help things along. There are some mods that taken alone are quite impressive, but set it next to a $1500 water cooling upgrade as an amateur build and it's hard to compare.

My thoughts exactly, They should have an air cooled and watercooled catagory. Even if there is no prize money involved, I'd rather have the rep than a measly 150 bucks:rolleyes:
But 150 sounds nice.

It was tough to decide which of the builds I would nominate but I loved the attention to detail you had and Parvum>CaseLabs as a personal preference for me.

The rule that the log cannot have been posted at other forums will bash pretty much everyone out of the competition. Sponsored builds are posted in many logs across forums. In the two above systems there is already one that doesn't get past this rule.

If the other logs links back to their build on OCN it's ok thumb.gif

Unless I'm mistaken, the "sponsored" class is excluded from the rule entirely for logical reasons.
