Ok so right now I'm running 4 gbytes of crucial ballistix sport 1333 and for some reason when looking in CPU-z its showing it running at 666Mhz. The bios shows 1333Mhz. So I'm kind of confused as to whats going on. I have another 8gbytes to install but would like to figure this out first.

Timing
9-9-9-24 2t

thanks
Dustin

DDR RAM is Double Data Rate meaning for every cycle there are two bits of data sent. The true frequency is 666 MHz. x 2 = an effective 1333 MHz. RAM is advertised at it's effective frequency not it's true frequency.
