First watercooling build/mod - Page 3

For the SATA/SAS hot swap front bay I had to make some minor change to them. The default 80mm fan that came with them was so noisy that I switch them with 1 80mm noctua, After receiving the noctua fan I realized that they were too big for the back plastic cap. I had to cut out a piece so that the fan could stick out a bit and keep the cap at the same time and i had to strip the cable to be able to fit the original connector that is a mini 3 pin connector. I looked on the net but never found the name of this one.

Finale product (If you look carefully you can see that the cut aren't perfect since cutting plastic with a metal dremel makes the plastic to melt LOL )

Here is a sample of the looking, many thing missing.
1- Better quality picture rolleyes.gif
2- Waiting for the replacement of the defective reservoir
3- White cathode on the top of cpu.
4- Change the noisy 120mm top fan.
5- Mabe putting two 80mm fan for the back dont know really what I can do there
6- Dye the 2 80mm fan for the front bay (still don't know what to use without hurting them)
7- Placing a white plexiglass on the bottom that glow and cut a bit of heat that will go up at the same time.
8- Replace the red cable for at least black (since this build is mostly blue/white/silver theme.
