"upgrade" the screen in ASUS G51jx

Thread Starter
I have a ASUS G51jx-383v Gaming notebook for a while now and i am very happy about the performance. but a home and a work i have 2 big screens (dual monitor setups) so the screen in my notebook is very small. but then i started to wonder if it was possible to upgrade the screen to a higher resolution.

something like
http://www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/ASUS/G51JX/

so now is my question:

can i just change the screen??

(sorry for my bad english, its not my main language)

Is it as simple as old screen out, new screen in (just like changing a graphics card in a PC?)?

Pretty much yes, but bare in mind that you'll have to strip the laptop down pretty much to bare bone.

It'll take a few hours I'd guess depending on how the laptops been designed.
