Loading an app from the dock was really quick, but if it's not in the dock then prepare to spend half an hour finding it.
You have to load finder, go to applications, find the application folder and then load the application - it's a right pain.
30 minutes?? Click the finder icon, click applications, click the app. It's better than Windows because the application launchers are all in ONE folder. Windows programs are in much more of a mess, especially if you forget the name of the software developer.
But yes, you can just search the name of the program in the start menu. For OS X you hit apple+space and type the name ofthe app and voila.
I support higher res. Apple has a great way of pushing other companies so I look forward to finally having higher resolution monitors at affordable prices.
Question: Can windows zoom the entire display? I've been using my 40" from bed and sometimes I can't tell what's what. On my Mac I just hit ctrl+plus or scroll and it zooms in. Not sure how to do this on windows. And is there anyway to take screenshots directly to a file?Edited by Psykhotic - 12/14/11 at 1:51pm
