Vignetting aside, its no CGI/effects trickery. Those are native assets to the game in their true glory.

Was the last video out of sync? Because lip syncing seemed off quite a bit.
I'll be happy to see Alan Wake on the PC, I just hope they don't go and price it at $50-60. If it's half that I would be happy to purchase it, otherwise I'll wait a few months to watch it drop.

I don't see the point of releasing this game on PC unless it's made in dx11.
Otherwise it won't sell the game is not the best I've played.

I personally LOVED alan wake's story and gameplay.
It dares to be completely different from all the other games that saturate the industry. The gameplay mechanics using the light and flares is extremely unique and fun. Especially in the DLC expansions which further the darkness reality and give the player some really cool abilities. The story is gripping and interesting to say the least and has you going from the start. If the opening scenes don't catch your attention in anyway, then you need to stop playing - it isn't for you.
Graphics wise, for all the haters, isn't bad at all. In fact, Alan Wake is visually stunning. If you didn't know this already, Alan Wake was supposed to be an open world game on the PC but they signed off with Microsoft and it became a 360 only game. They cut the whole open world design.
But they didn't ditch the engine which is STUNNING.
The only reason why if you look at screenshots of the game, it looks meh, is because of the 360. The game's engine is still "open world" based but they were doing a linear game on it. It was poorly designed in that manner of speaking, so the 360 took big graphical cuts. Game looks great still but it has the potential to looks REALLY astounding. The proof is in the pudding.
If you watch the cutscenes in the game, you'll see the true beauty of Alan Wake and its engine's capabilities. It's core engine rendered footage. No CGI or special after effects, but rather PC engine rendered.

Vignetting aside, its no CGI/effects trickery. Those are native assets to the game in their true glory. The only bad part about the game's graphics are the character models being so stiff.
Also, the ending credits is Space Odyssey. You cant top that.

If the PC version ends up looking like the cutscenes in gameplay then it may very well have graphics going for it. The story and gameplay are probably better than a lot of games in this genre, they just don't appeal to me.

This is my absolute favorite SP game this generation.

You people NEED to play this. I pretty much agree with everything Omega said...

The way the story is told, the use of light(as a weapon), is just amazing.

This is definitely a genre pushing game. The flashlight IS a modern interpretation of the torch...

I most def agree(they are a large portion, no gamer can deny that), but for a game that was released 2 years ago there needs to be more than just the story at this point.

I for one(as a gamer) do not limit myself to only pc gaming, I also play consoles games and this is something that is not that amazing, although the game itself is amazing.
Its like "been there, done that", bring more to the table if you want me to buy a two year old game....again.
