hi,

i have a problem with this procesor and graphics card...when i unlocked to x6 and start the game(crysis 2 or coh) i have artifact and my graphic card start to sound funny and start to make noise like hell... most important i have Artifact on every game i play...but when is in x4 i can play game normally without artifact...i run every test to procesor(prime 95 and OCCT) time: 1 hour and all is fine when is x6...thats tell me that is not procesor problem...it is graphic problem? when i install my old graphic nvidia 7300LE all run fine(COH)..

can u please tell me where is the problem?

is your gtx 560 overclocked? if it is then i would try it at x6 and the gtx on stock settings. if not then it could be that even though your x6 is unlocked, it isn't stable.

it sounds like it isn't your graphics card and it is definitely your chip. just run it at x4 and don't worry about loss of fps. you aren't being pushed to where you need the extra two cores in any game thumb.gif

First off, welcome to OCN thumb.gif

Usually, after unlocking a CPU, you need to push more volts to get the cores stable. After unlocking, have you tried doing a blend test to see if the chip is stable?

Sorry. I had to do that. I'm a grammar nazi.

When you overclock the chip, you bump the clock speed up by 5 MHz increments. When you get artifacting or general instability start bumping the voltage until you either hit a voltage or temperature wall, or you get stable. If that fails, start bumping the multiplier.

EDIT: Also, when I had my x3 720 unlocked I would get massive artifacting. This drove me to the point where I almost threw out my GPUs. There is a reason why AMD locked the cores.
