I heard humors of late Jan/ early Feb. Not sure???

I am waiting for the 2012 alienware refresh =D

Rumor has it that the 28nm mobile GPU is due in Jan 2012 but by the look of things its not going to happen. I expect a Feb/March launch. With Ivy coming in April it might be possible that we wont see premium gaming laptops like Alienware till then. When it does release however, it will be awesome. 22nm cpu + 28nm GPU *drool

There has been speculation that the 7970m will be based on the 7870 and released q1, I would guess in February, 7990m probably released q2.

I don't think there is any word from AMD yet so this is just speculation. I'm guessing Clevo will be the first one with the cards actualy available, since a good percentage of their current laptops could handle the cards.

Good find. Unfortunately after reading that review it would seem that the 630m in that laptop is a mainstream general GPU. It scored very low in windows as well as 3dmark etc... but incredible value for someone looking for a sub $1k notebook. Still made using 40nm process yuk haha.

Yeah , it's just a renamed GT 540M.
Low end cards , don't expect high scores.
