When I was 12 I bought a CD of Doom 1/2 mod/wad files, such as the energizer bunny doom etc, which was endorsed by ID.

All I had to do was install the WAD files to the game's WAD folder using DOS commands in Win95, but I couldn't figure out how, so I abandoned the disk after 2 hours.

A few years later I rediscovered the CD in the garage and sprinted to a Win98 machine and installed it in 2 seconds.

Good times ensued.
