Danny - it's a much more involved process than you realize. There is design time, programming and tooling, prototypes (multiple iterations), packaging design and testing, internal documentation, marketing/advertising, increased inventory load, and parts management over the next few years (at least). All that runs into thousands of dollars, so decisions aren't made lightly. It comes down to making a best guess about the potential market and if it's worth it.
