If you want information, you'll have to sort through the pages. This is merely a speculation thread with small hints at what Merlin will be like. One CL decides to announce the Merlin and models alike, then I believe it's his job to bring out the info. For now, nothing has been finalized and CL isn't obligated to supply anyone with any info.

Are you guys planning in the future a 8 PCI slot case with a mini ITX 2 PCI slots hybrid ? Something along the lines of this>
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Xilence/XQ_Interceptor_Pro/images/finishedrear.jpg

I would have taken this case for my next build, but it lacks the following features>
mini itx has one pci xpress slot,
mini itx compartment has slot for a midget power sources

I thing what you guys could do is make the big motherboard compartment in the lowwer part, double psu compartment (like in the SMH10) in the middle part, and mini itx compartment in the upper part.
If you take the width of a SMH10 for instance one could easily fit in the upper bay 2 pci slots for the mini itx.

This case would be my first choice but it doesnt exist. Therefore i would be choosing the SMH10

What i wanted to make would be a mini itx pc in the above compartment, all wireless, meaning one would have to fit there a wireless video card, there is this >
http://www.guru3d.com/article/wireless-graphics-card-kfa2-gtx-460-wdhi-review/
but it has 2 slots

The upper mini itx would be wife pc, and she could be in the room a few meters away from pc, all with wireless peripherals
1)Wireless display via the said video card
2)Wireless camera, via the usb on the video card, the video card can send one usb signal wireless.
3)Wireless keyboard and mouse
4)Wireless sound and microphone (im still figuring this out - but since i dont have a viable case i havent gave it that much thought)

Using the MAGNUM TX10-D would be way to overkill for such a build, not to mention price and i dont have a place for such a big case.

DEAR GOD! I SAID IT! SOMEBODY WASH OUT MY MOUTH WITH SOAP!

Wireless on the other hand sounds like a funny word to me when it isn't in networking.
