I dont play very many graphics intensive games so I wouldn't benefit from a high end card. Thats why I was thinking hybrid crossfire. Although llano cant be overclocked very much from what iv read if you can increase the gpu speed you can see good fps gains.
Thanks for your thoughts.

What kind of games do you exactly play mate?

The 6670 will NOT cut it for BF3. My 5750 with an OC of 850/1350Mhz just about manages 35-40 Fps on ultra @ 1336x768 frown.gif

Thanks for your thoughts.

Even with the integrated GPU OC'd, you won't get playable frames on games such as BF3, Skyrim and forget about the upcoming GTA V tongue.gif

The chipset is meant for HTPCs and casual gaming/older games.

First of all, try to overclock your RAM as high as it will go! 1600mhz is very good, but the integrated GPU loves extra bandwidth. Best part is it doesn't cost anything but your time to find the best settings!

http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2011/07/06/the-best-memory-for-llano/2

IMO a 6670 is a good buy. Every game isnt going to take advantage of crossfire, but the ones that do will show gains over a single GPU.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-a8-3850-llano,2975-2.html

You should be able to play BF3 in crossfire with the 6670 and get 50fps avg at medium settings comfortably.

I am just of the opinion the best value for your money is with a 6670, as to not waste your investment in an APU.

The 6670 IS a good all-round card, however, for anything above 1440x900, it will not cut it in most latest games unless settings are dialed down.

A 6790 is great but if you can pay $30 extra you should get a 6870

Why when you can get an HD 5870 for the same money, which puts the 6870 to shame? The HD 6870 is pretty much a HD 5850. Buy smart. "Newest" tech isn't always better.
