A query about benchmarking with my PC...

Hey guys, well I want to start benchmarking my PC. But I have a problem, I'm very limited with my PSU. As how I am right now, I'm fine. With nothing OCed my PC is in safety. But if I OC my CPU, then I think that safely is gone. You see, I have an i7 2600K and a geforce 590 (with only 1 HDD, Optic Drive and 4 chassis coolers connected to the motherboard), all powered by an OCz 750W modular.

The question is, will it be safe for me to, at least, during the benchmarks, OC my CPU to 4,2GHz?

That's it guys.

Greetings.

If that were a GTX 580, I would have said yes... I would leave it alone until you get yourself an 850 or better, preferably a Corsair

This is a 950, but not modular

Ok, thanks. I will do the benchmarks anyways (without OCing, obviously). Leaving aside 3D Mark11, I won't notices that much of a big difference in most games (In Crysis, for instance, between 3,4 and 4,2 I had only 1 FPS of difference xD).
