You can pre order it right now. and get free shipping + 20$ off

Got mine preordered smile.gif
based on how the T model started from preorder around the 21st of December and started being shipped this monday.. so you got about 4-5 weeks before it's release .. that's just a guestimate. hopefully sooner

When is the release date anyway?

I think the monitor is still too expensive for me. Do monitor prices drop in time?

There was no official release date announcement and I don't think there really will be. Should be by the end of this month or within February.
The monitor is expensive. and I believe I recall you asking that question before. Yes, they do drop in time. Time as in 2-3 years from now they would usually have a refurb sale or a small sale to make room for newer monitors. Tbh, for a monitor with the latest specs that's pretty cheap.

the SA950's are going for 600$. Some say the screen is amazing and all but what makes the BenQ stand out is the fact it supports NVIDIA 3D VIsion 2 and according to people here the screen is good as well.

so for 399$ and 499$ for the built in emitter+3d glasses. that's a steal. considering you're getting NVIDIA 3D vision 2 for 100$ instead of 150$ sold price. not to mention the lack of clutter since you don't need a seperate emitter to dangle below your monitor.

the Viewsonic v3d245 I was looking at is selling for 450$ with 3d vision1 was the closest I seen in this price but the monitor is not as flexible in terms of adjustments, inputs and technology..

There are lower priced 120Hz monitors.. but really shop around and see what suits you best if this is too pricey.

Thanks for the input smile.gif I guess my last choice then would be eBay. I'll wait for the TX versions to be released an I'm sure they will be cheaper but brand new ones out in eBay. Oh well.

It might not be called through mode I'm not sure. But it's a mode that reduces the input lag by a hell of a lot. Maybe it's called AMA?
