When I go to options the following are greyed out:

gamma
color temperature
hue
saturation
overscan
smart scaling
color format
hdmi rgb pc range

Is it because I don't have HDMI cable plugged in? I tried to use the HDMI cbale from my 360 nut when I look at the back of my ATI 5970 video card, I see the port is smaller than my 360. What kind of HDMI do I need here? Thanks.

those are gray I believe because some things are disabled when you're 120Hz.

the plug is a mini-HDMI i think? my 560ti came with it.. you can buy an HDMI-to-mini at a best buy

Would it be a very wise decision to pre-order the XL2420TX now? I really want this screen but are there any negative reviews about it that I need to know before buying it?

Got this monitor this morning and it's my first experience with 120hz. I must say I'm dissapointed, ok it's smoother but going by what people have been saying its not as huge as I thought it would be, not sure if I will be sending it back.frown.gif

What do you exactly mean by "huge" ?

If he was expecting some magical size and not 24" I am really going to LOL.

But I assume to him the "smoothness" was not a "huge" difference.

The difference between 60 and 120hz isn't huge. The difference really isn't worth paying extra for it, shame because I've been looking for a new monitor for a while now and its alittle dissapointing. Just my personal view.smile.gif the size is the same as my old hp w2408h. Gonna play with it later though before making my mind up about keeping it or not.

not sure about best buy, monoprice has them, but i contacted customer support over the same issue my 570 and they said they recommend using http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10240&cs_id=1024008&p_id=3993&seq=1&format=2 with the included mini adapter; might be overkill for you but, 10' for $5 is a heck of a deal
