BenQ XL2420T available January 18th - Page 19

On 100hz setting the screen seems to slightly flicker (backlight problem?)

No problems on 60 and 120.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002XVYZ82 O'm using this and is working fine at 120hz. The first DP cable i bought would flicker at anything above 60hz so had to return it.

Depends what games you play. Maybe you don't have the 120hz enabled properly? Because I can notice a big difference even in slower paced games. But in fps it's a huge difference.

Monoprice has the best cables.

I bought a Mini HDMI cable, a HDMI cable, and a TOSlink cable for 9$.

Each cable, at Bestbuy, was 30$ a piece. These are higher quality, as well.

What I really want is a 30'', IPS, 0.1ms response time, 2560 x 1440, 240HZ OLED Backlit monitor. for 500$.

Or a CRT as slim as LCD / OLED with modern connections. Seriously, LCD looks so **** compared to CRT, even LED isn't quite there. OLED is getting there, but it's closer to Plasma, which itself is closer to CRT.

I miss CRT.

As display options are mostly greyed out, I'm guessing I'm on 120Hz. Is it possible to enable these options, without losing the extra smoothness? I'm using DVI.

Has nothing to do with 120hz you need to be using standard mode to be able to adjust the RGB.

What is standard mode and how do I verify I'm on 120Hz? I was told I should feel the difference.

Would it be a very wise decision to pre-order the XL2420TX now? I really want this screen but are there any negative reviews about it that I need to know before buying it?

The monitor barely came out on Jan 18. There hasn't been much reviews but the 2-4 or so reviews have praised it very highly.

I personally have the TX on preorder.. hopefully it will ship within the next 2 weeks lol HOPEFULLY.
