BenQ XL2420T available January 18th - Page 27

Hey I've been looking to buy a new monitor and had this one in mind. The thing that is holding me is that my gfx card is a AMD Radeon. I'm not sure if later on I will be able to use the 3D. (If I so choose) Are there some glasses that would work with AMD and this monitor?

+REP for setting me straight ;P

Not your fault, amazon.com (US) redirects us to the 2410T if we search for the 2420T.

Anyone know how to make the "buttons" on the right of the screen stop blinking? They are constantly blinking every 5seconds or so

@ TO ALL THOSE LOOKING TO BUY THIS MONITOR WITH AN AMD GRAPHICS CARD..

Be wary. Nvidia 3D VISION 2 is closed and proprietary. It would be a pain and a headache to try and get 3D to work with your ATI card due to this.

I personally don't have any experience with an AMD card + Nvidia 3D vision ready monitors but from what I've read about the XL2410T it was a headache.

Not only are finding compatible glasses hard.. they can get pretty expensive.

I'm not sure how far off iz3D or tridef are but I guess if you have time you can lurk those programs and see how better it's gotten.

okay guys I went balls to the wall and bought this monitor. I've never used 120hz before and I can immediately notice the difference. Just moving my mouse on the desktop feels smoother.

The colors are nice, a lot of preset modes to choose from and if you don't like any of them you can fiddle around with the settings yourself. Haven't gotten the 3d glasses yet but I plan to in a few months.

Not only does it perform well but it looks very nice as well.

if you're thinking about getting a monitor this one should definitely be on your list.

There should be a XL2410T, XL2420T, XL2420TX Owners club on this site smile.gif

Anyone have this as a primary and then a 60hz monitor as a secondary monitor and have no issues with the primary running at 120hz and the secondary at 60hz?

I returned my 60hz monitor I bought to use with it, but basically in nvidia control panel choose scaling on gpu on at least the 60hz monitor and that may solve some issues
