Well according to BenQ the TX orders should be arriving at the california facility today and begin to be shipped out to the pre-orders. So in the coming week this thread should begin to liven up a bit. smile.gif

I JUST GOT MY TX!! biggrin.gif California LA resident.

smile.gif
Gameloader unfortunately does not work.. or I'm doing something wrong...

Mine didn't come with an installation CD even though the manual on the website says it should redface.gif..

Here are my settings

Brightness 17 -35
Contrast 40 -50
Sharpness 4 -4
Black Eq 6 - 0

Still messing with it.. and eye balling it lol

--IMPRESSIONS--

So far.. not a big fan of Black EQ.. seems to make my screen very yellow.. turned it to 0 and the colors IMO looked much better..

The variety of inputs and adjustments are awesome! And loving the design.

I played a little 3d with tf2 and seemed similar to my experience from vision 1. I'll test this more tomorrow.

Played 120Hz of League of Legends.. not much of a game to showcase this badboy but very smooth screen movement that's for sure!
Love this S-Switch btw. I already saved my own preset as 3 smile.gif lol Still messing with it though and it only makes it super easy to navigate the menu.

One downfall is the glasses it comes with are the first gen glasses which I wasn't hoping for.I wear glasses so the bigger frames would help.I'm going to try to complain to nvidia and see if I can trade lol.

As previously stated with the T model, the TX as well suffers the game loader "not a supported monitor" issue.

What's the "game loader"?

I thought it was supposed to have the Nvidia Vision 2 Glasses. It's a very big shame for BenQ and NVIDIA if it indeed came with the Vision 1 Glasses.

It's not "a shame"; it's actionable. I'll be calling BenQ if mine shows up with the old glasses. Tests with other Lightboost monitors do say the v1 glasses work with Lightboost but BenQ's description page reads:
Quote:
NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ 2 with Complete Connectivity
Certified as NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ 2-ready with the new NVIDIA 3D LightBoost™ technology so you can experience gaming and entertainment like never before with total realism and intensive graphic display. The XL2420TX is even embedded with 3D IR emitter and come with NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ 2 Glasses Kit to bring you total realism and intensive 3D graphic display with no hassles.Furthermore, the XL2420TX supports D-Sub, HDMI, DVI-DL and DP inputs for console gaming action.

(boldface is mine).
