Set mine to standard and lowered brightness to 30 contrast to 40 and gamma 2.

I like it.can be bright when the lights are off but lower brightness as desired.

Btw, when you do 3d does it always work no matter what?

Thank you, I will try those settings when I get back from work.

3D is working Perfect with Skyrim. BEAUTIFUL specially with the new drivers. Make sure "Stereoscopic 3D" is enable inyour nVidia control panel. The only flaw I noticed is that sometimes the 3D will stay on even after I have disable it in the control panel. My quick fix is launching Street Fighter iV and automatically disables 3D lol

I see there are a variety of problems with this monitor. I' not sure if these problems will be present with the next batch of XL2420TX's though. I hope someone can do a detailed review of this monitor.

And what are these? I effing love my monitor. Its miles ahead of both my asus and dell and this is only in 60hz. Can't wait to see this thing in 120hz once my rig is complete. I could honestly care less about 3D any issues people are experiencing is just as much to do with the game and gpu as anything. I have my 3500 60" panasonic plasma in my HT room if I want to enjoy 3D. They are still working out the kinks with 3D and every monitor out with 3D technology is having issues. If you are looking for a computer monitor without fault that's 3D and 120hz good luck with that. It will be awhile before 3D tech works flawlessly. On a side note I use a set of turtle beach headphones for my xbox and have always used the audio out/headphone jack on the monitor for the headphones after receiving its signal through hdmi from the xbox. I'm floored by the performance of this monitor for audio output. The Dell had decent impact in both bass and treble but max volume was poor and not very loud. The Asus went very loud but quality of sound was horrible and very distorted. The BenQ not only goes very loud but its crystal clear and has very deep bass especially during explosions in BF3. This is coming from someone with over 6k in speakers in my HT room with Martin Logan's.

One issue that I'm referring to is darkamikaze's issue wherein you have to plug unplug the monitor for 3D to work again after a restart. Well, that's not a problem with the game, is it? I think it's a problem with the hardware itself.

My 3D is working totally fine after enabling it in control panel, no need to unplug or shut down.

Also, im running 120hz + 60hz with my gtx570 with perhaps a slight fps drop but no biggie, games still playable.
