BF3 won't launch from battle log! help

Game won't start from battlelog I get the message "battlefield 3 has stopped working" Any ideas?

I figured it out, deleting the "tm" from the file folder and updating the registry fixed it.

Hi all,

I know this thread is pretty old, but I am encountering this problem. Battlefield 3 won't launch from battlelog, and it keeps crashing regardless whichever option I select (campaign, quick matches, etc.).

I've done what most people have advised: Removing the TM signs from regedit, compatibility mode, repair install, but still, nothing works. Even had an hour long discussion with the live chat service, but to no avail.

Here's the irony. I then installed a pirated version, just to see if there is something wrong with my PC, but... LO AND BEHOLD, THE PIRATED VERSION WORKS PERFECTLY! I just... don't understand what's wrong. I suspect there is something wrong with the origin version file.

Can anyone help?
