I would check out these two;

http://www.amazon.com/Acer-Iconia-W500-BZ467-10-1-Inch-Tablet/dp/B004SBI2PW/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1324037872&sr=1-1

Both are within your price range and have decent reviews thumb.gif

Hope this helps. I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (runs Android)

I've heard mixed reviews regarding the Iconia.
We have one set up at work, and it weighs a ton compared to other tablets.

Check out the Asus Transformer (also, newly released Prime version) but giving the financial constraints. The non-prime should be cheap.

Edit: Derp! Sorry, it's Android. I need to L2Read...

I spent about half an hour p155ing about in best buy with all the different tablets and personally I think the main downside to the Iconia is that it feels a little too plasticy in comparison to the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
In terms of OS and ease of use I think it does quite well and is pretty intuitive thumb.gif

Thanks to Apple, we didn't get the Galaxy Tab here (Australia). Well, not yet. Early next year it's been pegged for. So I can't comment.

And yeah, the OS is fine, I mean, it's Android. So that wont change. What matters really is the device it self, and I wasn't a fan. Tho I do love the Transformer.
