Passed 12hours prime 95 4.3ghz, but was just crashed on desktop? Huh?

Thread Starter
I passed12+ hours of prime 95 blend last night at 4.3ghz @ 1.225 vcore. Max temps was 67C on 1 core, the other 3 cores were around 60-65C.

That was in the morning. I got done and was playing BF3 and clicked out and was browsing Ebay.

My computer blue screened with one of those "CRASH DUMP" reports etc...

That's weird. How did I pass 12 hours of prime 95 but crash randomly like that?

I went into BIOS asap and bumped up vcore to 1.230 to give it more juice since it seems to need it.

So? Every other voltage in BIOS is stock and my RAM is running XMP profile which sets it per manufacturers specs which are 9-10-9-27 timings with 1.5 voltage at 1866Mhz (Mushkin DDR3).

The other performance limiting options (C1E etc..) are disabled.

So?

No clue if Evga boards have the same problem, but ASUS boards pretty much require C1E and EIST enabled, otherwise you get idle BSOD's and it require more idle voltage than load voltage.
