WORST PC PARTS ever! (please list your worst purchases and why lol) - Page 15

Crossfire 6870s they never performed like they were supposed to.

I still have them waiting for some situation where one or both will be useful.

Haf 922 great case but everytime I work on it I wish I had gone with a full tower.

Evga motherboards: I bought one for my sig rig it lasted a year and I attempted to get a p55 board for another project and I had non 1 but 2 arrive doa. Will leave evga to their graphics cards from now on.

lol, i have this motherboard and it isnt that great of a board. Got it in a bundle for 285 what included the cpu mobo and ram, so not bad. But The bios bugs are lame. Board overclocks fine and is vary stable at least for me. But S3 sleep doesnt work with the overclock, or atleast the bios version im using. Also sometimes the board wont post if the room it to cold the first boot. It always boots on second try though. If room is warm doesnt happen. So far the board isnt bad, not the best. Go with gigabyte, they are the best.

My netbook (Wind U135).
There was nothing wrong with it, but it made me realize I HATE NETBOOKS.

Disagree. I have this motherboard and is superb! Have you tryed to reset / flahs bios when this happends?

Gigabyte is one of the best brands for motherboards, solid as rock!

I am doing overclocking now (not finished yet) with an i5 2500k and I am now at 4.5 stable.

EPOX!? Wow, blast from the past. Was all of their stuff garbage? I never resorted to them.
Their stuff did look kinda cool, in a weird way.

I bought one when I was deployed; back when they were the 'new thang' and everyone thought my 'mini laptop' was SO SWEEEEEEEET.
1024x600...worst resolution they could have possibly come up with. When that thing died (1st gen Lenovo S10), I honestly didn't shed a tear.

XFX 680i LT Mobo and Ultra PSU's.

They were both low quality garbage, I've since bought only quality PC parts.

p5n-e SLI. Was a good board, just not for OCing quad cores which is what I had hoped to do with it.
