Easily this piece of crap. Made all of my fans make a ticking noise whenever not at 100%. CM, gentle typhoons, noctuas etc. all made an awful ticking noise when connected to it. Eventually gave it away and bought a Lamptron and couldn't be happier with it. Totally worth the 100% increase in cost.

I bought a galaxy 9800GTX+ for my first ever build. Playing crysis saw it get to load temperatures of 106c on stock clocks and cooling, tried lots of things including more airflow and new thermal grease before giving in and buying an AC accelero twin turbo which dropped temps to mid 50's load. Won't buy from galaxy again. Replaced card with an Evga and haven't bought a different brand of graphics card since.

I was planning on getting a 5850 for my first build, but they were unavailable in Canada for the first month so I settled for a 5770 (the 5850 was listed on newegg.ca a couple days after my order shipped). That card was insanely overpriced at the time, I paid nearly $200 for it. My next mistake was crossfiring it with another 5770, never again will I go ATi after what I had to go through with their drivers.

Any logisys product. I have bought a few of their light products over the years, and all have failed within 1 year. I mean granted they are dirt cheap, but seriously? If your products are that cheap that you cant make a quality product, then why bother? This has completely turned me off to EVER buying another Logisys product, and their customer service is an insult to any human with knowledge of a computer.

2 HP OEM computers, but i didn't purchase either one.

first one from 2006 was a gift from my dad. came with a dual core athlon and 1gb of ram. it was actually a decent little machine but the integrated graphics really killed my gaming ambitions. motherboard died after 2 years, too. it would also constantly overheat before i figured out how to change thermal paste. still using the case, monitor, mouse, keyboard, HDD, and cd drive with my 2600k though lol

second one is my cousin's computer that his father purchased for him. an HP with a 2600 CPU(yes i7 2600) on a cheap h67(?) motherboard with 4gb ram and a 6450. that thing costs like $2000 because of all the "beats by Dr.Dre" stickers pasted all over.

This.

I had a gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3. worst motherboard I've ever used. Thing seemed to have a mind of It's own. I didn't dare turn it off since it only turns on when it feels like it. If it did turn on it would usually just restart over and over again.

Sent it in to Gigabyte, I'll be selling it as soon as i get it back.

I was upgrading from my first self built PC (an AMD Athlon 2000+ on a Nforce 2 board), and wanted to re-use my GeForce 5900XT in my new machine. That was the start of my mistake as the 5900XT was an AGP based card and this is when PCIE first hit the market and I didn't know it was the way of the foreseeable future. Going with an AGP port also meant going with socket 754 instead of Socket 939, why did I pick a dead end socket and not one that would eventually let me use dual cores? doh.gif

The worst thing about the board was the craptacular VIA chipset, yes I was dumb enough to buy an expensive VIA based dead-socket-AGP-equiped board that never played nice with SATA drives and had the noisiest on-board audio I have ever had to put up with. And no, it couldn't overclock beyond 5%... I used this board for over four years till I replaced it with an Intel Quad and never looked back.

x2! I had a Gigabyte GA-K8NS Pro nForce3 socket 754 board with an Athlon64 3200+ CPU. I was completely screwed when 939 and PCIe came out, ended up getting the fastest AGP card I could find (Geforce 7900GS) and used it until 2009 when I scrapped the whole rig and built an i7 920 rig.

Had to go dig through my newegg.com account to find this. A ECS BLACK SERIES A780GM-A and my Athlon X2 7750 BE that wouldn't go over 3.0 GHz on a 785G board. I couldn't even get to go over 2.9GHz on ECS.
