Phenom 9650 - I thought more cores would make Crysis run better than my 5000+ BE lol, I was wrong

More core do make Crysis run better

Notice how Q9650 beats both E8400 and G2020. I guess the Phenom 9650 was just a POS CPU?

It's common knowledge, that Agility SSD are just mainstream garbage. Even Vertex are unreliable.

Nothing new. 7200.11 are legendary for their "reliability" status... Had some of those also..

Antec Laptop Cooler.

It had an... interesting design.

Apparently it was meant for laptops that exhaust heat from the BOTTOM vents because it pulls air from the space between the cooler and the laptop, then exhausts out of the side. The only issue was that such laptops are a rare sight, I don't ever recall

End result? For my old and current laptop (which both inhaled from the bottom), it only raised the temperature by creating a negative pressure around the intake vents.

It was also very difficult to clean without completely taking it apart and breaking some plastic tabs, and the fans were god-awfully noisy/vibrating at random times.

EDIT: Technically I didn't buy it, but it came with the laptop. An i7 720QM (1.6 GHz quad-core). And according to benchmarks, the i5-580M (2.66 GHz dual-core), a cheaper and cooler running CPU, outperformed the i7 in most tasks except for heavily threaded ones. And many games in 2010 did not have a reputation for being heavily threaded...
